Summer School for Credit Recovery
Summer School is a 6 week program that allows students the opportunity to regain credit. During this 6 week program students attend classes Monday-Thursday. We offer 3 sessions a day with each session lasting 2 hours for high school students and 1 ½ hours for middle school students.
Summer school has two paths that students can take to regain credit. First, students can opt to take in-person classes which are taught by a certified teacher. Students can take a total of 3 in-person classes. Second, students can opt to take online courses. These courses are overseen by a certified teacher. The online option provides students with a wider selection of course options and allows students to work at their own pace. High school students earn ½ a credit for each course that they successfully complete.
Summer school registration will be taking place from Monday, June 21st-Friday, June 25th using this link. Note: Middle School Summer School will open on June 16th. Please contact your child’s counselor before enrolling in any Summer school classes.
